Henning's knows that events like these require a cake that's as special as they are. Henning's comes from a tradition stretching back over 150 years, when the Kjar family first started baking in Denmark. Descended from four generations of masters and armed with his family's best recipes, Henning Kjar came to the United States in the late 1940s to try his own hand in a new land. In 1970 he opened the doors to Henning's in downtown Santa Barbara. Today, his son Wayne continues the tradition using old family recipes, innovative new ideas, and only the freshest ingredients around. For more than thirty years, Henning's has been Santa Barbara's favorite bakery.
